Dark Souls is a critically acclaimed game, developed by From Software, known for its high level of difficulty and innovative online features. The problem? It's not on PC! A port of this game has a high chance of being extremely successful for From Software and Namco Bandai. Given the sales of games such as The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and The Witcher, there is a large market for games like this. PC gamers love unforgiving, hardcore games. A port may also mean that the area's in the game, such as Blighttown, won't suffer from slowdown. An online oriented video game is also perfect for the capabilities of a PC. Steam would also be suitable venue provided the game is sold at a reasonable price for a late port. Steamworks could provide a strong and easy to use online infrastructure. Dragon's Dogma is an upcoming action packed fantasy RPG much along the lines of games such as Skyrim, Witcher 2 and Dragon Age all of which have found great success on all platforms including the PC. The creators of Dragons Dogma are looking to rival their success and may very well do so. However they currently have no plans to port this incredible looking game to the PC. The sales of previous, similar titles released for the PC prove that this is the type of game that PC gamers want and that a port of this game has a high chance of being very successful especially if sold on a popular platform like Steam. UPDATE: Partial Victory, Keyboard+Mouse support there, still, hoping they don't strip off features, like AC:Revelations on PC did not have Ambient Occlusion(SSAO), while it was there on the console counterpart, why? Brotherhood, the PREVIOUS game had SSAO. Assassin's Creed III, in-making by the well known Ubisoft. However, every year we've seen the game gets delayed for PC, usually 6months(except Revelations) and sometimes features removed. [For those who don't know what Ambient occlusion(SSAO) is - http://www.geeks3d.com/public/jegx/200809/nvidia-ambient-occlusion-paper.jpg ] See the difference? It's HUGE. We have to wait for the PC version game as, it gets delayed for 6 months(excluding Revelations)for no proper reason. This petition seeks to demand an apology from The Express Newspaper (Trinidad and Tobago) for their recent publication on Sunday December 11, 2011 titled "What you should know about HOMOSEXUALITY". Please sign this petition to let Trinidad and Tobago know that you are tired of siting back and reading blatant attempts of public hate and discrimination such as this. This is an outcry to human rights and by signing you can help others demand an apology from the Express and a retraction of this article online. You do not need to understand Homosexuality to recognize hate and discrimination, you simply need to sign. This petition does not seek to infringe on the freedom of speech as it is a right of every citizen of Trinidad and Tobago, nor should we prevent the freedom of press. However, when articles such as this pose potential danger for an already marginalized community, something should be done. We live in a society that can be very ignorant to homosexuality and thus, uneducated and strong assertions such as this can stimulate hate against homosexuals and endanger their lives simply due to fear of the unknown. Although this hate may not have been intentional, the implications can be far-reaching. This is not censorship, this is simply a demand for equality.
