Equal Parenting Rights in Family Court
Petition Statement
I urge you to support truly equal parenting rights for mothers and fathers and rid our family courts of sexism towards men. All of us either come from a split up family or know of a family that is or will be going through a divorce. The divorce rate in America is at 50%. At least 44% of those divorces have children involved in custody battles. I know how hard it can be to be a man in family court trying to get equal rights of his children. It is not easy and the law heavily favors women as the winner. You don't ever want to find yourself in this situation and be unfairly judged just because you are a male. So please I implore you to sign this petition. Trust me, if it is you in family court, you will want the law to be as fair as possible. Fair for you, fair for your significant other, and most importantly fair for your children.
