Get Mosswood Park Athletic Field & Basketball Court lights turned back on 28 signatures

Over the summer the basketball and athletic field lights at Mosswood were turned off except for a few paying, permitted uses. These lights used to be on until 8pm allowing evening recreation for many. With longer daylight hours in the summer, they weren't missed, but with winter's limited daylight, all (legitimate) uses of the park stop at sundown. This has had a huge impact for play on these fields. Many park users have been trying to find out what the situation is and have got no clear answers, or that anyone knows or is willing to explain the reasoning for the lights being off. � We users of the park are using this petition to show interest in getting the athletic field and basketball court lights on and will be sending a formal letter explaining the problem to Nancy Nadel's office to see if she can help get some response from the City's Office of Parks and Recreation to take action. � If you'd like to have the lights on at Mosswood please put your name on this petition to let the City know that this matters to you and your neighborhood. It'll help keep Mosswood a place we all can enjoy. Plus, a park with people in it is a safe and vibrant park!
