The voting age should be lowered to 16. people under 18 are not allowed to decide who the government will be. They aren't allowed to decide where tax money goes. Some people think the voting age should be raised and they say anyone under 18 would make a uninformed vote and that anyone under 18 can't vote. But people under 18 can vote both adults and teenagers make bad decisions and good decisions being a certain age doesn't make you anymore mature and it doesn't make you anymore informed or smarter. An adult can vote for a bad person but a teenager can vote for a bad person to and they can both vote for good people. And you can't vote wrong yes you can vote for a bad person but that's who you think would be good. Most youth can cast a vote they aren't stupid. Also they're allowed to think what they want to think people think that just because someone is under 18 they aren't capable of thinking for themselves. Well they are, youth will vote for who they think is right adults do exactly the same so why can't youth?
