The number one biter in north america is a mini poodle. the number one canine killer is a lab. everyones family dogs. Dogs are animals with animal instincts, whether it is a chihuahua or a pitbull or great dane, they all have instincts and can all be trained to be nasty. some of the larger breeds have been trained as their size works to their advantage, that does not for 1 second make them "bad" dogs. Any dog can be a good dog. Yes some people abuse their privilege to own a dog and it actually becomes abuse to the dog, they don't naturally want to fight. Have you ever seen a vicious puppy? No because they're born innocent and with a mind that is completely moldable and can be made into anything you want it to be. Many dogs end up in rescues and shelters because they were in the wrong hands or even because the circumstances changed and they got there. Shelters and rescues do behaviour assessments and will not adopt out dogs to inappropriate homes. Sometimes the dog ultimately suffers and dies because of human error. Help us prevent these beautiful dogs from being banned! A ban should be placed on stupid owners not dogs!
