Get the TV anthology "Way Out" on Video
Petition Statement
I grew up in the late 50's/Early 60's and loved to watch the early and odd anthologies as a kid. One series which ran during the spring and summer of 1961 stayed in my mind growing up. A creepy show called "Way Out" hosted by Roald Dahl. It was never syndicated anywhere since. I did some researching and saw 5 episodes on the net. I was amazed at how well written they were. Also the entire run (14 episodes) still exists and can be viewed at the Paley Media Center. There would definitely be an audience for these interesting tales. Unfortunately, not many people know of the series as most who have seen it would have to try and think back over 50 years. It would likely appeal to fans of The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Thriller, and One Step Beyond. I am hoping to see this great forgotten series get the release it deserves.
